Job Code: XW06-118

Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a proven research track record to join GNF as Postdoctoral Fellow. Successful applicants will exploit, develop and implement high throughput cellular screens of large combinatorial chemical libraries (>1 million small molecules) and arrayed cDNA (>30,000 human and mouse genes) and siRNA libraries (targeting over 16,000 human and mouse genes) to identify and characterize small molecules and genes which regulate specific developmental signaling pathways, cellular senescence in cancer cells, and oncogene associated epigenetic modifications. The project will involve novel cancer therapeutic target identification, validation, and translational research of modern drug discovery.

The successful candidates will work in a multidisciplinary, highly interactive environment with chemists, biologists, engineers and informaticians, and develop or apply emerging technologies to address critical issues in the area of Cancer and Developmental Biology and Functional Genomics and with the opportunity to be exposed to many of the processes of modern drug discovery.
