We are currently seeking a scientific associate with strong background in molecular biology and cell biology to support lead discovery programs. This position requires a B.S./M.S. in a relevant field with at least 3+ years of biotechnology or pharmaceutical drug discovery experience. Primary responsibility of this position will include target validation, cell-based and biochemical assay development, compound profiling and HTS using our state of the art automation technologies. The successful candidate must have solid skills with mammalian tissue culture and standard molecular biology protocols. Preference will be given to candidates with experience on in vitro biological and cell-based assay development. Excellent communication, planning, organizational and record keeping skills (with an attention to detail) are essential. Highly self-motivated individuals with the ability to thrive in a goal- and team-oriented setting in a fast-paced drug discovery environment are desired.
