We are seeking an individual with experience in high-throughput ADME assays and LC/MS/MS to profile drug candidates. The successful candidate will support drug discovery efforts as a member of the Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics group by conducting automated and manual assays. Assay responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, carrying out in vitro studies to assess metabolic clearance, plasma stability, plasma protein binding, DDI potential and Caco-2 permeability. The successful candidate also will be expected to operate, troubleshoot and perform routine repairs of LC/MS/MS instrumentation.
Required qualifications and experience:
•B.S./M.S. degree in chemistry, biology or a related discipline with at least two years of experience in HT-ADME or in HT-LC/MS(/MS) analysis.
•Expertise in small molecule LC/MS/MS analysis and in LC/MS/MS troubleshooting.
•Experience with using automated liquid handlers, such as Beckman FX or NX. Prior experience programming automated liquid handlers is a plus.
•Excellent laboratory skills for low-throughput ADME assays.
•High level of self-motivation and ability to thrive in a goal- and team-oriented setting.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills.
