We are seeking a highly motivated Scientific Associate with a background in protein expression, purification and characterization.  The successful candidate should have extensive knowledge and practical experience in expression of proteins in various prokaryotic and eukaryotic systems and facility in protein purification using affinity chromatography and classical protein separations techniques.  Good organization skill, an aptitude for working in a highly parallel mode, and a mindset of active inquiry are desired.  Familiarity with structural biology, protein analytical techniques such as HPLC and mass spectrometry, and biochemical and immunological assays would be a plus.  Good communication skills and an ability to work in a team environment are essential skills.  The candidate should possess a B.S/M.S in biochemistry, molecular biology or a related area.
