We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our chemistry department.  Successful candidates will have strong skills and a proven track record in synthetic organic chemistry and preferably medicinal chemistry.  Specific skill requirements include designing and performing multi-step organic syntheses from mg to gram scale, compound purification, and structural characterization to provide compounds for biological testing.  Experience with hit-to-lead SAR optimization, and optimization of physicochemical and ADME properties is a plus.  Additional job requirements include clear and complete documentation of work performed, ability to collaborate proficiently with an inter-disciplinary team, and strong oral and written communication skills.  This position requires a M.S. in synthetic organic chemistry or a B.S. in synthetic organic chemistry plus work experience in a drug discovery organization.
