The Biotherapeutics group is currently seeking a scientific associate to join our drug discovery efforts. The scientific associate will be responsible for therapeutic mAb development using a hybridoma platform. Proficiency in a variety of experimental techniques including molecular cloning, cell culture, ELISA, multi-parameter flow cytometry, and cell based functional assays is required. Previous experience with automated liquid handling is recommended. The successful candidate will have an understanding of signal transduction pathways and be able to develop assays to screen for agonist/antagonist mAbs. This position requires a B.S./B.A. with relevant experience in biotechnology or the pharmaceutical industry. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a goal and team oriented setting are critical.
