The Biotheurapeutic Development Unit is seeking a highly motivated and experienced scientist to join our dynamic and interdisciplinary team. The successful candidate will develop state-of-the-art biochemical and biophysical methods for releasing and characterizing antibody drug conjugates. The candidate will also qualify, validate, and transfer analytical methods as well as author technical procedures and documents. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for the general organization of the laboratory, the maintenance of instruments, and the management of supplies.
Minimum requirements:
M.S. in life sciences (Biochemistry, Chemistry, Pharmacy or equivalent) with at least five years of biopharmaceutical development experience in protein characterization method development and/or release method development and qualification. The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of protein characterization and analytical instrumentation (e.g. HPLC, Mass Spectrometry, CE, and spectroscopy). Ideally, the candidate has hands on experience with ESI-MS (Thermo ion trap series, Agilent ToF series) and MALDI-MS as well as SEC, CEX, RP-LC, and NP-LC.
