Bioinformatics analysis of complex diseases

We are seeking an expert in integrative genomics to join the newly formed Bioinformatics group. The successful candidate will conduct in depth analyses of high dimensional mouse and human population based data including multiple molecular and phenotypic measures, to define new targets for GNF’s high-tech and high throughput scientists. The position will encompass the multiple therapeutic areas under investigation at GNF including but not limited to metabolic diseases, cancer and immunology. The candidate must have a Ph.D. in bioinformatics or a related discipline, a track record of 5 or more years of experience in systems biology as practiced in an ambitious team setting. Critical to the position are handling large complex datasets in both standardized and innovative ways, working in a diverse team setting and the ability to communicate results and ideas.
