Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the antifungal team at GNF. The candidate will be a key contributor to the direction of the antifungal program.

Primary responsibilities
Depending on the level of hiring, the candidate will have corresponding responsibilities including performing and collaborating on in vitro research leading to discovery and development of novel antifungal therapeutics; participating in and leading team discussions; identifying project needs and developing corresponding assays to guide the development of structure-activity relationship; supervising and/or guiding junior members in the lab.

Minimum requirements:  
M.S. / Ph.D. in microbiology or related field with experience in working with fungi; familiarity with the biology of common pathogenic fungi as well as experience with antimicrobial drugs or biologics is highly preferred; excellent molecular biology and biochemistry skills; excellent personal and communication skills; demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative environment.
