The Genomics Institute of the Novartis Research Foundation (GNF) is a translational research center which bridges the gap between academic research and pharmaceutical development. A postdoctoral position is available to identify novel therapeutic approaches for the treatment of obesity based on regulation of brown fat.
We are seeking a candidate with a Ph.D. in the biological sciences with an in-depth understanding of signaling pathways, strong molecular and cellular biology technical skills. Experience in brown fat biology and animal models of metabolic disease is an advantage. The candidate should be enthusiastic, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a team environment. Strong analytical, writing, communication, and problem solving skills are required.
