Searching for a Project Manager Research to join the Program Management group at GNF. We're seeking a talented, curious, and collaborative individual. The Program Management group manages first-in-class, novel research projects by working with scientists and multi-disciplinary teams both locally and across global sites. As part of this team, you’ll help turn ideas into innovative medicines which improve people's lives.

Your Responsibilities a Project Manager Research:

• Manage drug discovery projects in multiple disease areas from hit to lead to clinical candidate identification
• Work with project team leaders and senior management to establish project strategy, develop and maintain integrated project plans, and manage diverse teams across multiple sites to meet project timelines/goals
• Ensure go/no-go criteria are clearly defined that lead to data driven decisions
• Keep senior management and key stakeholders informed of project status and escalate issues when they impact timeline, scope, cost or quality
• Plan, organize, and facilitate team meetings focused on effective cross functional communication, decision-making, and resolving issues
• Contribute to the functional excellence of program management through improvement of processes, procedures, and tools related to program management practices[#video#https://youtu.be/6zHT-WPPFLY{#400,300#}#/video#]

What you will bring to the role as a Product Manager Research:

• Innovative, driven, highly organized self-starter with the ability to handle multiple activities and comfortable interacting with all levels of management within the company
• Experience in building team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines and able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills including people management, time management, organizational, and prioritization skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project, Power Point, Outlook, and Teams
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Willing and able to learn new skills to meet changing needs of the organization
• Demonstrated involvement in biopharmaceutical research and drug discovery (previous project management, project leader, or multi-/cross functional leadership experience preferred)
• Ph.D. in biology, chemistry or other related scientific field with 4+ years of industry experience, M.S. with 6+ years of industry experience, or B.S. with 8+ years of industry experience
